I thought I'd get the ball rolling here (even if there are only two other members). Here are just a few comments on the latest issue of Captain America. It is spoiler-intensive, so here is some:

What a letdowm.
Not that that's too bad - a letdown by Brubaker is still significantly better than Bendis' best work. :-)
Obviously it is hard to tell at this point, but I felt as though #11 would have been better positioned as an epilogue to the Winter Soldier arc (ie., Cap fights the Winter Soldier, not knowing for sure whether or not it is the ol' Buckmeister, and then, when all is said and done, he finds the file and learns the truth).
I just found it hard to believe that when people Cap knows are dying, and when it looks like Bucky is the Winter Soldier, that Cap would go out for a run rather than looking under every rock for some kind of lead or evidence. He just seemed way too 'normal' for this point in the story.
And let's face it - that last panel would have been perfect if the issue was placed as an epilogue, with Cap being all 'What have I done?' after learning that the Winter Soldier is, in fact, Bucky Barnes.
The writing and art was of course quite solid, as it always seems to be in this volume of Captain America. I always thought bringing back Bucky was a big no-no, but Brubaker and Epting/Lark have not only pulled that off well, they have made me love Captain America - a character and title I have ALWAYS hated.
The letdown mentioned at the beginning of this post came merely from the fact that we've now had two 'memory' issues in a row. I want some action and reoolution, gosh darn it!
Can't wait for next ish.
Oh, I also thought the acquisition of the metal arm technology from the British, rather than the Americans, was super cool. I doubt it was deliberate, but I felt that that was a neat little tie to Badhand (and a couple of members of SHIELD UK) from the Marvel UK books.
