Has anyone seen the Marvel Legends series with Tigra and Nova in stores yet? They're supposed to come out in February sometime. It feels like forever since the last Hasbro series.

Shoot -- I still need to get Black Knight!
And, my local Target and Wal-Mart have not yet displayed the FF or Spider-Man movie Legends, nor has Wal-Mart sold the Marvel Girl/Cable two-pack!

I have seen the FF and the two-packs at my walmart, picked up Namor and The Thing. I also saw the non-Marvel legends figures. Nice Judge Dredd.
Still havn't seen anything from the next wave of ML though.

Lucky grab on Namor, BK. He definitely was short-packed. I couldn't bring myself to buy the 2-packs, even when Wal-Mart droppped the price to $11. I just can't convince myself that Cable, Bishop, or even Domino are relevant to the Marvel Universe I grew up reading. More like What If? characters. I would have loved a Cannonball (or any original New Mutant) in the Black and Yellow New Mutant uniform. The pink/purple costume is gross.

Yea, I didn't pick up any of the two-packs, would have preferred maybe some more Avengers or Defenders, Man that would have been cool, a Nighthawk and Valkerye pack or maybe Nighthawk and Hellcat.
I personally am really looking forward to Nova and Tigra in wave 4, and US Agent and Union Jack in Wave 5.

Tigra, Union Jack, and Nova have always been high on my ML wish list. Next I would love to see the rest of Avengers Infinity, Starfox Quasar Moondragon (classic green, please) also Stingray (of course) and Avengers villains Grim Reaper Wrecking Crew (box set?) Enchantress and Titania (although I'm disappointed in some of the female sculpts, Wanda and Shulkie esp.)
FLASH FORWARD to 2016....
Jeesh, 8 years later and we got the entire Wrecking Crew (Bulldozer was a bummer of a holdout though. They ARE among the BEST Marvel Legends figures ever though.) Grim Reaper (another great job, he's almost as massive as the Wrecking Crew guys)
STILL waiting on that Enchantress...
pretty sure everyone got a 3 3/4 figure by now (Starfox was in a $$ box set, STILL too $$ even loose on ebay)
BUT no Moondragon, Titania (?) ....or STINGRAY!!!! c'mon now!

Some Avengers villians would be nice. Grim Reaper and the Wrecking Crew are some good pics, maybe Kang. And an Ultron, that acutally looks like Ultron.
They have done my three top picks. Cap Hawkeye Black Knight.
I would like to see a Hawkeye in a different costume (and no not the YA girl)
I would also love to see the current Thor (although they are doing a Marvel Select of him).

And an Ultron, that acutally looks like Ultron. Unfortunately, Ultron now looks like a bland metallic-colored woman for no particular reason...so I don't think we'll be getting that. Ultron was such a cool-looking villain, it's downright criminal that he never got proper representation (three Ultron figures, to my knowledge, and not a single one of them was based on a comic design or even had his signature down-facing antennae).

Scale-wise, an Ultron based on the art of George Perez and as big as Toy Biz's Colossus would have been perfect. Larger than Cap and Iron Man, and the right size to go toe-to-toe with the first Thor!

Here's a scale shot of Hulk Legends -- I think Fin Fang Foom is everything people wanted! No sightings of Doc Samson or Valkyrie, however... Hmmm....

Even for that cheap, I still can't waste $$ on Cannonball/ Domino. I only want the Legends of classic characters and especially the ones who are 1st time figures. Cable, Deadpool, Domino, and movie figures just don't interest me. I want the Wrecking Crew!!!

Just picked up Kang the Conqueror at Wal-Mart. Looks good body-wise -- head could be just a bit larger, and I wish the helmet/face sculpt was a bit more Bronze Age looking. Other than that, he's looking sinister standing alongside Loki, Baron Zemo, and the Taskmaster! Now, if they'll just re-do Ultron (and not as a girl!!)...

They made KANG?! I am SO picking that up! Of the Marvel Mini-Superhero figures they're making, I bought a two-pack with the Hulk and the Winsome Wondrous Wasp!

They made KANG?! I am SO picking that up! Doc -- Here's a link to some pix of Kang -- this is the original, very limited release ToyBiz version. The Hasbro one looks almost identical (scroll about halfway down this page for Kang). www.marvellegends.net/FantasticFour/

I'm curious if any of you collectors ever get the marvel lead figurines? www.marvel-figurines.co.uk/figurines.htmlI have one of the Vision, and I plan to pick up a couple more, if I can find them. The one I have is very nicely made.

I still want to buy some of the busts (Goliath, Giant-Man, and Galactus would be high on my list), but can't every part with the $45.

I got a 404 when I tried accessing that link you pointed me to, dlw, but thank you anyway! Yeah, the Giant-Man bust shows up on eBay a lot, but sometimes the price is real steep... I'd love to snag a cheap one!

Just saw this photo, from the NY Comicon. Hasbro will be making 2-packs, exclusively to Wal-Mart in Fall 2009. They will contain one 3 3/4" figure and one 12-13" figure. I am going to be all over this particular 2-pack, just to get the Goliath to set alongside the Marvel Legends BAF Giant-Man of a few years back!!

I see a broken image. Know of anywhere where I can see this? Weird. Sometimes the image shows up and other times it doesn't. Anyway, right-click and choose Properties, and then copy and paste the link into your browser. You should see a cool image with "pointy-mask" Iron Man and Goliath in all his blue and gold glory (and they even got the goggles right this time!!). EDIT: By the way, MSRP on these is $25 -- a little steep for the Goliath (as I am not interested in starting a 3 3/4" line), but at least half of what Giant-Man goes for on Ebay...

I fixed the link. Dlw's site didn't allow for external direct linking, so he could see the picture because it's automatically saved in his chace, but we couldn't.
Nice figure anyway!

Whoa!!! I want that Hank figure! A local shop has a Yellowjacket Marvel figure for... $18.95. Is that a realistic price?

A local shop has a Yellowjacket Marvel figure for... $18.95. Is that a realistic price? Unfortunately, on the secondary market that may be what you'll pay. Since Hasbro got the license for Marvel Legends, the retail prices went up to $10.99 -- which is why I don't go crazy over these anymore. Now I really only pick and choose the ones I want. If we were still dealing with ToyBiz prices, for example, I would have bought the Golden Age Cap and Bucky. Passed on them now, though. Your best bet might be to go to a show or convention, where you have some negotiating power on price.

d**n, I probably won't have much luck then, of course. And that poor Yellowjacket in that shop will be collecting dust. Oh well, maybe even eBay would be a good place to try!
