This is an OK follow-up issue.
We get a decent background on Iron Lad/ Kang through some dialogue. Almost no action for the team, which can be expected for a learning issue of a new series.
Things I liked: Still like the art The appearance of Cassie Lang The "That's why I hate Kang" conversation The discussion about apprehended bad-guys and what to do about them. Super heroes have often left baddies 'to be found by the police' I'm glad this issue deals with hoe un-wise that thinking can be. The fact that these guys still aren't comfortable as a team. They have some work to do to get there The arguing between Patriot and Kate The respect the team members have for Carrie
Things I didn't like: The fact that Kate is just another rich kid. This is something that I think is played out. The Patriots attitude
Things that surprised me: Cassie going Goliath. It was to be expected but how it happened was pretty cool. The Vision
Things I was wrong about: In the scene where Kate and Cassie couldn't get into the Avengers compound, on one panel Kate is on this side of the gate, on the next she's on the other. I thought she might have phasing abilities. I didn't see that she just vaulted the fence.
overall not great, not bad 5 Loonies out of 10
