Yes, it's the most important last page of any comic this year, because Quesada has said, "dead means dead!"
I mean, this is it, we'll never see Elektra again.
No, really.

So Elektra dying in much the same manner as she did before, is a more significant "last page" than getting the evil eye from Cap's dead corpse?
To quote Jon Stewart: "Wha?"

yeah, Bendis says he wants to start getting rid of all these ninjas that some bozo was putting into every book.

Never read any of the Electra stuff, and thankfully very little Echo. Just wondering if she'd actually have the skill to outfight Electra and shish kabob her.

I do assume all of you clearly saw the bit in the article where it said the cover WASN'T the reason for the colosso-last page? (Heh, funny how they say last page instead of issue? Clearly they don't stand a prayer of competing with Cap 25!)
I'm actually interested, which is a nice surprise. Sure, Bendis has a HUGE history of anticlimax (House of M will 'change everything' and 'break the internet in half', 'Ronin's identity will shock and entertain you' etc) but... well, if this were pre civil war I'd be sceptical but quite honestly, with Spidey unmasking, Cap dead, the newer, more brutal Thunderbolts, Aunt May shot... the marvel universe really is wildly unpredictable and ya never know what they might do next...

isn't her power supposed to be a little like taskmaster's?
She can duplicate what she sees other folks do, so I guess if she's already seen other skilled nijas)lord knows there' enough of them to see) she couls equal her.

Whereas my thought was "Three issues down the road and they're still fighting the HAND?!?"

Just how many ninjas are there in the world these days? I would have thought Wolverine cleared out 90% of them back in the '80s. And.. come on this is Bendis.. they'll be fighting the same ninjas for 10 issues.

Maybe fighting is too strong a word... more like jumping around each other doing the cute dialog thing... Bendis style!

Whereas my thought was "Three issues down the road and they're still fighting the HAND?!?" I know; that basically killed what little interest I had left in this title.

My take: if an Avengers comic is going to revolve around a fight between Daredevil’s chickies, I should be able to expect the Black Widow to be present.

Hey, look on the bright side: At least Echo didn't shove her sword up Electra's ***** and tell her Matt Murdock sends his regards! RSC

Echo vs. Taskmaster. My money's on Taskmaster... Cooler outfit Doesn't need a "man suit" He can hear He has a shield, sword, bow AND a cape As long as Bendis! doesn't write it, he's the winner hands down.

If Bendis writes the story, Echo wins, because she's (1) his, and (2) newer, and therefore automatically kewler, (3) a chick Frank Cho can put huge boobs onto (Cho will be available in a few months when his gig on Mighty comes to an end...).
If anyone else writes the story, Taskmaster wins.

If anyone else writes the story? Look at it realistically, Echo will beat Taskmaster 9 times out of 10, regardless of writer, because SHES A GOOD GUY and Tasky is EVIL. Unless this fight happens in the pages of Cable&Deadpool, I should think the odds favor Echo pretty much regardless of writer.

Oh yeah, but all that isn't to say that Taskmaster shouldn't be the one to win of course, I mean he's copied more fighting styles so he should come out on top right?

I think Echo would win. Tasky is still looking over his shoulder for the invisible Woman. How do you copy getting smashed flat by an invisible forece hammer. Plus, he still has to be hurting from that.

and I notice you post at about the same rate as me lately. So does that mean you fall within the ranks of nutty disciples?

Maybe I'm just desperately trying to ensure I have more posts than you. Maybe I feel I need to compensate alone for the superior number of people who hate Nu-Marvel I don't hate Marvel, just most of the writers and the pin head in charge. Ok, maybe not most of the writers since my only recent experience has been with only writer. The writer of Avengers, the only title I wanted to follow, but can't because the guy can't write. So that's only two, one writer and the pinhead in charge, which is not ALL of Marvel. But it does seem like it some times.....

Maybe we can all chip in to build a spaceship to send Bendis to a far away planet where he can spend the rest of his natural life -alone- without causing further damage to our beloved MU...

No, that's a bad idea, he's just take over that planet by means of re-writing all of their leaders. Then he would come back to earth an wreak havok on all of us be releasing the full power of his unending ninja hordes.
