I just read New Avengers Annual #1 .... and it was actually good. There was action, adventure and great teamwork (except for Spider Woman ). The whole thing meshed well, aside from Wolvie saying Mazel Tov. When did the whole MU become Jewish? .... not that there's anything wrong with that....
Even got to see the Sentry do something. Very well done. I'm at a loss for words now.. so used to bashing Bendis and NA.

Bendis, A.K.A. the Second Coming of Stan Lee, is jewish.

The whole thing meshed well, aside from Wolvie saying Mazel Tov. When did the whole MU become Jewish? They didn’t, but Jessica Jones is Jewish, and she and Luke had just gotten engaged, and it’s normal even for goyim to use that congratulatory phrase when such a major life event happens to a Jewish person.

He writes Spiderman Jewish. He writes Wolverine Jewish. He writes Captain America Jewish. It's just another example of how talentless he is.

Although I've not read it yet, I would here recommend Up, Up, and Oy Vey -- this book covers the Jewish influence in the creation of the American comic book. Siegel, Schuster, Lee, Kirby, Eisner, Kubert, and on and on. Really an amazing amount of influence from such a small demographic. And yes, bob, that annual was very good -- I wondered at the time why it all couldn't be this way.

Yeah, the one issue of New Avengers I thought was acceptable-to-good. It must have been one of those "monkey bangs on typewriter and accidentally reproduces Hamlet" moments. It happens.
