The second moment comes near the end, Carol's dressing-down of the other Avengers over their failure to help her with Marcus. I hadn't read #200 yet so I didn't know the whole entire backstory but it was intense, personal, and a powerful moment. If anything, it showed the younger me that this team perhaps isn't as happy-go-lucky as say, the Justice League normally is. So my interest in the team and their adventures only increased after reading that Annual. Sadly, this episode was the first thing that came to my mind when I thought about female Avengers moments. I was elementary schooler at the time and it just tore me up. It's definitely the most memorable of these moments. But it's too painful to be a favorite.

There is certainly a disappointing female Avengers moment in Cap #25. All the Avengers are gathered for a big bash in honor of Fal-Cap's introduction. The 'lead' Avengers are gathered around a table, with the rank & file members scattered in groups all around. At the table, properly to my taste, are She-Hulk and Scarlet Witch.
Lost in the crowd -- The Wasp! No respect for a founding member.

That reminds me, has anyone checked into Hank Pym/Yellowjacket's chronology, and figured out exactly when he was "replaced" by a Skrull (ala Secret Invasion) For that matter, how about all the other heroes/characters who were "replaced" by Skrulls.......did the "abductions" make sense (chronologically, or otherwise)

Now Foxx, don't tell me you still take death in the Marvel Universe seriously. As is the case with everyone who dies, Jan was just on vacation. In her case, the vacation was in a microverse type place. She was rescued a while back and currently appears in Uncanny Avengers. And Wundy, I haven't read Cap 25 but I'm with you all the way. As a big Wasp fan (Hence the name), I've often felt she has gotten the short end of the stick.
