Sorry Shiryu, I'll let you handle this thread, but I'm enjoying this book so much, I just had to post SOMETHING.
I still think Wanda is depicted as too b*tchy than I remember her ever being (except during her occasional possession). And Jan seems a little TOO flirty (almost a bimbo, IMO) but I'm comparing these two ladies to the characters I grew up with, of course, a different time and different views of how women should be written in comics. I'm NOT complaining about their attitudes, it's just not how I remember them acting from the 70s and 80s comics.
But other than that small detail, NO COMPLAINTS. This issue had great writing, art, and a classic-inspired cover.
And I'm glad they brought in Havok instead of Cyclops for this book. I'm just not a Cyclops fan. And I like what they're doing with Rogue, the attitude (and great costume) I remember, after a loooong personal hiatus from any X-books.
This comic felt like the MOST I've gotten out of a $4 comic so far---I usually feel like I zip through most modern comics and am underwhelmed---but this one had weight, IMO.

I loved the issue. I don't think Wanda is b****y, I think she's sorta cold now. I also like how the Wasp is written although I came to a screeching halt when she used the word "gnarley." No one has used that word in thirty years!

No one has used that word in thirty years! I also thought the issue was very good but I just can't get used to Nick Fury being black. It doesn't bother me in Ultimates since that's an alternate version or even in the movie because that's also alternate, but in the universe in which he's always been white, it just doesn't make sense. I know people change but with the exception of Michael Jackson, not their color.

In fact, I'm glad others are enjoying this book as much as I am! In this particular issue I loved the intra-team tension and the arguing, as well as Wasp highlighting the different attitude between Avengers and X-people. A healthy degree of bickering is always fun to read.

I don't like Fury being black either--it's cheap political correctness in my view. Why not create some new black characters if it's all about skin color these days--or better yet, do something with the existing black characters that are floating in limbo.
Anyway--I'm with you, Shir! I love the bickering, love the Wasp's tough but playful attitude--pretty much everybody on the team is interesting. I even like the cat fights between SW and Rogue, even though I think Rogue is way over-doing it in the bitterness department. But that's what is making their relationship interesting.
