While I'm not jumping at the hilt for the book, it does seem to have an interesting premise. Although the fact they've put two of the most hated Avengers characters on this blasted team seems to be a little much, lol. I don't know how much Doctor Druid I could read. I like what they said about the female Yellowjacket though, and with her, Capt. Marvel, Swordsman, and Vision on the team, this doesn't have me too disgusted.

I'm with Kidcage. I'm not jumping up and down either but.. I'm not exactly running away in horror either (Though perhaps I should be since the characters are all dead.) This could go either way. With good writing, it could prove quite interesting. I liked Rita (YJ) in her Guardians run. She developed into an interesting character and was needlessly killed off just when she was at her peak creatively in possibly the worst non-Bendis story in Avengers history. I wouldn't mind seeing her finally get her due at least in some small way.

I don't know how well received it was on here but I like what the writers have done in Incredible Hercules and could see this working quite well. The comments in the article seem to suggest they like the same aspects of avengers history as I do. Apart from the general resistance to big events and mini series this seems quite interesting to me

Well, and as I read it again, did it seem to bring in the idea of Hercules assembling this team? So Herc might be part of this? I did enjoy Incredible Hercules, so the writing might make this enough fun.

It seems interesting, especially if it results in at least some of these characters coming back to life. I have mixed feelings towards Incredible Hercules, but the comments that Van Lente makes on each character seem appropriate, although I hope he will explain what sort of body the Vision will use since the old one should be part of the YA Vision.
Also, there is no Wasp in this team, I wonder if there is a reason for it.

Also, there is no Wasp in this team, I wonder if there is a reason for it. Well, according to the way Mighty Avengers ended, she's not exactly dead. In actuality, she's... okay, I really don't know but it seemed liked something other than death. If anyone can explain what I'm trying to say here, I'll be looking forward to reading it.

True, but Hercules saw her in Hades at an earlier point, dead and gambling for another shot at life. Maybe we could theorize that a bit after that Pym completed his... thing and succeeded in pulling her consciousness out of the otherworld and into that energy being?

I could see why Wasp being on the team is a bit questionable, and someone else I thought of was Thunderstrike. He'd have made a nice addition to the team (and someone a little bit more fun that Doctor Druid.)

I think Thunderstrike's absence is due to the upcoming Thunderstrike mini starting in November, which should feature somebody else finding and mastering Masterson's mace.
With the Thor movie getting closer and closer, there are and will be a number of Thor-related one-shots and stories coming over the next few months. One or two weeks ago there was "Rage of Thor", and I've also glimpsed "Astonishing Thor", "Thor Mighty Avenger", "Thor First Thunder" and so on (and on and on ^^)

This is probably true. I'm looking forward to Thunderstrike because I always liked him, and I dug the whole Everyman Avenger/The World Still needs Heroes aspect of him.
