I am banging my head on this. I need to get this 2-3 sentence biography written and I just can't come up with anything. Ugh. It's drivin' me crazy. Suggestions?

Just curious -- do you bring this up because you know something about the possibility that this book will be published? I'm thinking the essay I wrote in October 2007 may never see the light of day...

Last I heard from Van (which was late March/early April), was that the book is just about ready -- he's just waiting for Tom Breevort's introduction.

Brevoort? I thought it was Kurt Busiek doing the intro? As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't care if Irving Forbush did the intro, as long as the thing eventually gets published! I'd begun to think of Assembled 2 as some mythical lost book, whispered about by Avengers fans in late-night discussions.

I'd begun to think of Assembled 2 as some mythical lost book, whispered about by Avengers fans in late-night discussions. Do you remember around three years ago when one of our Assemblers asked about the existence of Giant-Size Avengers #6? They'd seen an advertisement or Bullpen Bulletin about it, but could never locate. I recall telling that person that the book actually had seen the light of day as Avengers Annual #6. Hmmm... maybe we should scour the Avengers listings on amazon.com. ;D

I am banging my head on this. I need to get this 2-3 sentence biography written and I just can't come up with anything. Ugh. It's drivin' me crazy. Suggestions? Maybe the following will help...with some updates, of course... How's this sound? "Kevin Woodside, an X-Men fan since age 9, was sucked into the world of the Avengers during the Onslaught/Heroes Reborn storyline of the mid-90s and has been an avid reader ever since. When he's not praising the antics of Bendis and Millar, Woodside spends most of his time at Stark State College of Technology, working on a degree in Technical Communications -- as well as planning for his married life with his fiancee, Tricia. For more on Woodside's thoughts on comics and attempts at writing, check out his blog (http://woodsidian.blogspot.com/) and the long-running Uncanny X-Periment Blog (http://uncannyxperiment.blogspot.com/)." This is far from final, but I think it's along the lines of what I want it to say.
