Just dropping in quick to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving, and best wishes to everyone on the holidays. Eat that turkey!
And to keep this on the topic of comic books, scroll down in the following link to see an awesome write-up of the Marvel Comics Float from the 1987 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, with a video download link!

Wow, what campy fun. I watched the video clip (By the way, why was the Back To The Future theme playing?) and it made no sense at all. It was mostly just Dr. Strange, Captain America, Luke Cage, and Wolverine running around with no sense of character fighting a female villain who seemed to be a ninja master (Even though the Enchantress has never excelled at hand to hand combat) while the Hulk simply ran amok with no purpose. I think I even saw a quick little guest appearance by Daredevil. Hey, wait a minute - I'm confused. Am I describing the Marvel float or a work by Bendis?
Thank you, Pym and Bong. Here's wishing everyone a very happy and healthy 2014. And, as wundagoreborn said earlier in this all-purpose holiday thread, let there be peace on earth...plus some exciting comics! ;D
Boy, I'm very thankful that a) Pym, you found this long-lost little thread and revived it for our holiday use, and b) Shar, that you posted this image again from the back of that Marvel Treasury Edition Holiday Grab-bag. For some reason, it always strikes the perfect Christmas + Superheroes chord for me. Gives me that bit of a holiday "tingle", y'know? Like sitting quietly in a darkened living room and watching the lights blink on your Christmas tree. . .
(*sigh*-- the season really, REALLY ended too quickly for me this year. . . )
