Two Mighty Avengers reviews, both extremely positive: www.comicbookresources.com/columns/?column=6fractalmatter.com/main/?p=540Nice to see that we see the whole team put together in one issue, very Bendis-like. Since, unlike most of you, I never had too much of a beef with Bendis' writing, just the roster (and Disassembled, which is in a whole different class of gob-smackingly awful to the mediocre New Avengers) I am extremely happy with this new roster and the new look, and to be honest I'm looking forward to it quite a lot. Interestingly, Fractal Matter clashes with what Bendis himself says, since it says the book has an oldschool feel to it for oldschool Avengers fans.

Silverbulletcomicbooks reviews are iN! It should be noted SBCB are most definitely not fans of the marvel of today, so the score is pretty good. Well, the score is 3 on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being best). I think Kelvin Green’s 3.5 is inflated in view of a lot of the negatives he cites, but maybe he has priorities different from mine. And then at the bottom of the page, Thom Young intimates that the 3 he assigned is really just because of Ms. Marvel’s hind assets. I tend to find assigning numeric scores (or parallel scores like letter grades) for ratings rather difficult and arbitrary, and I take them with a whole packet of salt when evaluating other reviewers’ ratings. In any case, thanks for posting the links, Doom. I saw the Augie De Blieck, Jr. review on Newsarama a few days before you posted its link; I meant to do the same, but I didn’t get around to it—I’ve been fairly busy lately, and I was having trouble articulating something I wanted to say about the review (I still am, and so I’m still not saying it!). So, I’m glad someone got to doing it.
