All winners will receive a no-prize, so be sure to put your vote in your post. I'm going to go for Ares for the same reason as on the NA poll. He is the least likely to say "Oy," therefore Bendis will think it's cute to have him say "oy!"

I went with Sentry, simply because I don't think he can talk. He's more mute than Black Bolt. So he will be the one who shocks the world with his first "Oy!".

I voted for the Black Widow because it's such a Russian spy thing to say. Although I also reserve the right to claim it as a victory if she says "Oyski"

Had to go with Ares too. My what hilarity will ensue when the mighty Greek God of war spouts yiddish exclamations. I'm betting he'll eventually throw in an Oy vey, and a Shmendrik or a Shlemiel as well.

Wasp. I don't know, but I like to think someone with the same letters as that famous acronym would say it.

I think it'll be Ms. Marvel. She'll get blown into a wall, as she's getting up she'll hold her head, & say "Oy".

Gotta go with Ares, just 'cause it would be so out of character, and therefore so (unintentionally) hilarious.

Supposedly Bendis is using thought balloons in Mighty Avengers—if one character thinks “oy!” before another becomes the first to utter it in a voice balloon, does the thought-balloon character determine the winner? And what if a balloon points to two or more team members (e.g., the entire team lets out a collective “oy!”)?

I'd say that a thought balloon counts, since (like a word balloon) it represents a graphical expression of the character's thinking. If a balloon points to two characters, then I'd say everyone who voted for either of them should get the prize...

I’m laughing right now because I just imagined “OY!” being used as a big ol’ sound effect. ;D

Perhaps we should compose a bar chart of the number of times "Oy" has been used in 27 issues of New Avengers, 8 of House of M, 4 of Avengers Plus Finale, in addition to the frequency by each character

Perhaps the team’s first brand-new recruit will be…Oy Boy.
(Well…he might be admitted to the team alongside his complementary crimefighting partner, Goy Boy.)

I'm gonna go with Wonder Man. He's spent a lot of time in Hollywood a place which has a rich collective of excellent Jewish writers and directors and he may have picked up a bit of yiddish during his lengthy sojourns there...

I voted Wasp because of these charfacters, she strikes me (I have no idea why) as the most likely to say "Oy". And yes I'm aware many of you feel Bendis will go for the character LEAST likely, but I believe he will start on familiar ground, hence it being Spider-Man in Hosue of M for example.
See, THIS discussion I don't mind because it's about a fun writer trait and doesn't have to descend into "GOD I HATE BENDIS!"

Had to go with Iron Man,
He'll be getting out of bed one morning and realize that he is now a super-villian and goy 'oy'

No it has to be an actual Avenger in the comic saying the 'OY'
