here's what I'd like to see for the Mighty ones:
Wasp (leader) Thor (second, c'mon, he's a freakin' legend and a god) She-Hulk (good friend of Jans, + legal advice) Human Torch (never happen, but he's a show-boatin' natural!) Jocasta (if your gonna dream, might as well dream big...) ... ...
the set-up would be a group of privately sponsored Avengers to monitor the SHIELD sponsored New Avengers.
what I think we'll see is Captian America, Thor, ... ...

J-dog --
Am I to assume that you don't know the new line-up, or do you just want a fantasy line-up? If you don't know, head over to the Classic Avengers section -- there are a couple of threads (with art previews) on the second page of the Classics section.

Who would you like to see in the new team? What set-up would you like to see? Slott and Wieringo? Casey and Pérez? Stern and Byrne? Those could be good team setups…

Casey & Perez would be like Christmas every month... I would also love Busiek & Ron Lim.

What I would like to see... The teams first mission... they must stop a cosmic threat that is disrupting the continuity of not just the Earth, but the entire universe. So they fight their way into the Marvel offices and stop the scourge of Bendis. Perfect ending, Ares kills him, but at this point I could settle him being banished to another dimension.
Then, with the Evil One gone the Avengers realize how much they've been manipulated and kick Wolverine, Sentry, Ares off their teams and put Spiderwoman in jail. Yes, I would pay to read that. Marvel's not getting any of my money at this point. I'm happy buying used comics on ebay. Comics printed before the Evil One took over.

Man, Ares killing Bendis... that would be poetic justice... And it would have to be death; anything less & he would just climb up from the bottom of any dimension he would be confined, no matter how hellish... I DO respect his survival instincts... Unfortunately (in this case), we know how even death isn't a permanent condition in comics...
