I've been dreading this one. There are soo many issues.
So I'm gonna cheat. We'll go straight to the wrap up.
The theme we see in the Wolverine branch of this is Vengeance. A simple matter of payback. First against Nitro and then against the person who augmented him. We also see vengeance driven by nationality on the part of the Atlanteans. It's a Wolverine book so you automatically get lots of blood and gore, again you know that's what you're getting when you get a Wolverine book so it is acceptable in this format.
Lot's of fighting, lot's of people ending up dead.
One question for Wolvie fans. He can come back from having his entire bode reduceded to his skeleton? C'mon, that's a bit much.
Anyhoe the only relevance to the storyline is Nitro, with some SHIELD threw in. It doesn't really give you any more detail into the Civil War other than war profiteering and the outcome for Nitro.
on a relevance scale of 1 to 10 I give this a 4
I also give the story a rating of: 5 Loonies out of 10
A good first read but not really worth a re-visit
