She Hulk # 8
The only stand-alone tie-in issue in the series. This issue shows She-Hulk in her role as an attorney hired by members of the New-Warriors to combat an internet hate site. In it we also see her get her transformation problems resolved along with some romantic advancements.
Things I liked: She Hulk scooping up Docs Strange and Samson in elation "Elvin, you're heroes. And you're family" Something the members of the Warriors really needed to hear here "I've got She-Hulk!" "All right, You got She-Hulk! NOW WHAT!?!" How easily people forget what has been done for them when they are scared She-Hulk gets Iron Man on the stand Steve and John talking about love the proposal
Things I didn't like: Iron Man on the stand. Carlton being a traitor. The Warriors took that kid in.
Overall this was an OK issue. I really liked the New Warriors back in the day and did not like them being cast as bad-guys, even though it is a realistic reaction. I feel this was written fairly well and you can see Jens thought process. It brings out the fact that the public always sees to live by the motto: what have you done for me lately.
As far al realation and importance to the overall Civil War on a scale of 1 to 10: I say its relevance is only about a 3. There just isn't much impact, but it's also early in the release too.
As far as a storry rating this gets 6 Loonies out of 10 Decent job
