OK I might be about to tell you all something you already know, but I just noticed it.
This is the release and presumably the read order for fallen son
Wolverine (already out) New Avengers (4-25) Captain America (5-9) Spiderman (5-16) Iron Man (5-23)
that's not the part I just noticed. Did anyone else notice the title of Wolverines? It was "Denial". This pretty much has to mean that they are following the cllassic "5 stages in dealing with death and dying" For any who aren't familiar those are, in order: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance Now when you match those up with the release order you get this:
Wolverine = Denial New Avengers = Anger Captain America = Bargaining Spiderman = Depression Iron Man = Acceptance
Not to jump to conclusions, but when you look at the release order in this light, it makes sense and actually sparks my interest.
The New Avengers being anger makes perfect sense. They'll be raging against the system they still blame for his death.
Cap as Bargaining, this has so many ways it could be interesting. Possibly an issue dealing with Caps perspective on death
Spidey as depression also makes good sense, another father figure that Pete looks up to is dead.
Iron Man as Acceptance. Even this makes sense. Tony feels Caps blood on his hands. He has to come to grips with the whole thing.
It's looking better to me now that I saw this

Question- why not expand the list?
If you throw in a few other titles you could probably make a list of all the Cap death related books. There aren't many, and I imagine it would be interesting to read some time. The other books that would be tossed in were you to do that now would be
-CW: The Confession -Punisher: War Journal 5
And arguably -CW: The Initative -New Avengers 28-31
Just a thought.
PS: WAit! IS THAT NUTCASE?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

for the purpose of this post I was strictly limiting it to the run of 5. Because those titles are gonna be significant to the content of the books.
And who is this'nutcase" to which you refer? Might he be some kind of Deity in you realm?

It will be interesting having a comic titled "the death of Captain America: Captain America" Still, if they follow these 5 stages in this order, #2 and #4 will be interesing. Having Iron Man for "acceptance" seems somewhat disappointing though, but let's wait and see.

think about it like this for #3
Captain America- acceptance
This is just s guess on my part which I am completely willing to say I am wrong about.
We see Cap viewing his situation from the other side of the mortal coil, or whatever. Caps would be a soul many of the supreme beings would want to vie for. i.e. Death, Mephisto,... like so. For instance you could see Mephisto offering Cap continued life in exchange for his soul.
Something along those lines would fill the 'bargaining' aspect of the storyline.

Actually, we know what issue 3 is. It's about bargaining and wrestling with the question; should there be a new Captain America? Or should the post be left vacant? If so, who?

Considering the title is "acceptance" and not "denial", we can already figure the answer to that question...

sorry, that's a typo
If it goes in the proper order Caps will be "Bargaining" not acceptance.
sorry bout that.

What does "bargaining" mean in this context ?

IF this is truly the format they are going ot go with I think we'll see death from Caps prospective. Matbe with some minor deity bargaining for his soul.
It's pure speculation though. We'll know if I'm right about the formay when we see the next installment.

We'll know if I'm right about the formay when we see the next installment. Or, if you’re impatient, you could just read the announcement in New Joe Fridays from back in January.

Thanks for that. Now I don't have to wonder, I'm sure that sense they're using the set-up, they'll go in the listed order.
This really does have me interested.

OK we see ANGER today.
The combination of New and Mughty Avengers is a little distracting. There are a few good points. I think they could've done withou the Mighty Avengers and just focused on the New.
I won't give away anything other than to say Spider-Man breaks my heart.
