Ok so Mar-Vell has come through a warp and is somehow here before his death. So what if he dies now? Really think about it-instead of isolating marv, they put him in charge of a dangerous and volatile situation, which could put him in harm's way. and even though he's a capable warrior, plenty of people have died during CW. now I'm no hotshot scientist like Reed Richards, but I'm thinking if he dies before he's supposed to, it might create parallel realities or rip the skein of the universe in some fashion. and that would be bad, wouldn't it? worse than the civil war outcome? just thinking in terms of major loss and the universe and time itself would be more important than "which side are you on?"

I think that the simple fact of his revival at all has created a divergent timestream. Here is a guy from the past, plucked out of his timestream before his death, who now exists in a present (his future) he should not inhabit.
Someone needs to find the "Easy Button".

Someone needs to find the "Easy Button". well the way I read it is that Marv, during his space travels, encountered a warp of some sort and it has displaced him in time (much like any number of heroes have been from the FF meeting Blackbeard to the WCA in Lost in Space/Time). Return him to the proper time without knowledge or injury and you likely prevent any divergent timelines. That ain't what's happening here...

Well to be fair they're putting him somewhere he can be both useful to their cause and extremely unlikely to get in a fight.
Let's be fair, what were the odds of Hulkling impersonating Hank Pym, freeing all the prisoners and a massive battle breaking out with spreads to the world proper and destabilizes the 42 complex?
